Trump's 'Beautiful' Letter From Kim Was Probally a Poisoned Pen Letter

                                          Good Day World!

Trump's latest love letter from Kim raised a lot of eyes in the Pentagon.

When he started talking about another visit to North Korea our intelligence community quickly suspected another 'Ground Hog Day' was coming, where basically nothing was going to be achieved just like in the past futile attempts.

The next attempt to revive stalled denuclearization talks was supposed to be June 30th, which has come and gone. Meanwhile, Kim has fired a series of missiles and rockets right up until last Thursday.

Which brings me back around to Kim's beautiful letter to Trump. When he got the letter he acted like a lovestruck little boy when a reporter asked what was in it.

He coyly refused, and waived the missive about briefly and then tucked it away in a pocket by his heart.

What do you want to bet Kim was giving Trump an ultimatum that if he didn't stop the war games between the USA and South Korea (which are currently underway) there would be trouble ahead?

We've seen Trump play with pieces of paper before, claiming them to be something they weren't. It's part of his childish charm that he uses to attract dictators.

With our intelligence community missing it's top two people, Dan Coates and Sue Gordon, because Trump has booted them out, there's little or no leadership to fill the void.

His temporary replacement Joseph Maguire (whose biggest qualification is he won't defy Trump) is going to find low morale when he steps into the position August 15th.

Trump's distain for the intelligence community has shocked career employees and Democratic and Independent lawmakers.

Even some Republicans recognize Trump's distain for the intelligence community is dangerous - but of course they're saying it behind closed doors.

In the midst of this chaos Trump is talking like a hopeful beau arranging a meeting with his would-be lover. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that he's being played like a violin by Kim.

As Trump moons over the possible meeting, the middle east is blowing up again and ISIS is back in Syria and Iraq after Trump pulled troops out of there against the wishes of then Gen. Mattis.

He resigned after Trump insisted it would be okay, despite his professional advise and what our intelligence community told him would happen.

Now, it's a growing threat because Trump can't take advise... even from top experts in the field.

Trump's pathetic and stupid attempts at making a deal with Kim have not changed the dynamics a bit - Kim is, and will continue to be, America's enemy.

Just like Trump.

5 Tips on How To Deal With Stress in Trump's America

Good Day World!

Pollsters and pundits all agree, most Americans are so stressed out by Trump's racist policies, destruction of our bedrock values, and devisive rhetoric, that they are having trouble functioning in our volatile society.

I could share study after study that proves the Trump administration has worked against the best interests of the majority of Americans. Suicides are too common. Too many people are living in fear.

But that's not my topic for this post. Today I want to share a little old fashioned advice on how to deal with living under the Trump regime and chasing the blues away.

1. Make sure to exercise - I realize that might sound contradictory, but putting physical stress on your body through exercise can relieve mental stress.

Suggestion: No matter what kind of shape your in, it's easy to get a life-sized stuffed Trump doll (make one if you have to - another good activity to release stress) and kick the shit out of it daily!

2. Light a candle - let's say your stress level needs reduced quickly - one way is to light a candle made from Lavender, Rose, Bergamot, or Frankincense.

Suggestion: these calming scents go back to ancient times. They worked then and they work now. This should be part of your daily routine when dealing with Trump lies.

3. Write It Down - This is one of my favorite ways of dealing with the orange anus in the Oval Office. No matter where you're at you can sit down and express your feelings.

Suggestion: Start an Opinion Blog like this one. My daily entries keep me sane and it's nice connecting with people who feel the same way.

4. Laugh - That's right. Laughter is the best medicine. It relieves tension and relaxes your muscles.

Suggestion: Watch Stephen Colbert, Treavor Noah, Seth Meyers, and John Oliver's shows. It's really satisfying to laugh, especially when it's about Trump and his minions.

5. Listen to Soothing Music - You've probably heard the old trope about music soothing the savage beast. It's true! Experts say low-paced instrumental music can induce the relaxation response by helping lower blood pressure and heart rate as well as stress hormones.

Suggestion: Try some types of classical music like Celtic, Native American and Indian music. They can all be particularly soothing. The key is to pick something you like.

So, that's it for today folks! Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you benefit from these tips.

How a Con Man Brought America to the Brink

Good Day World!

Another Guinness World Record has fallen.

The greatest con man - even more infamous than the Great Ponzi - was listed as Victor Lustig; the man who sold the Eiffel Tower...and got away with it!
That's right. Victor made so much money with the scam he couldn't let it go and tried to repeat his feat... and got caught the second time.

The Guinness staff needs to be ready to replace Victor as soon as Trump is kicked out of the White House - one way, or another.

Trump has pulled off the biggest con in history. I hate to admit it but the sociopath, narcissist, racist, lying con man leading (!) our country, practically fooled everyone that he could do the job.

The reality: his own base is suffering from the chubby snake oil salesman's economic stupidity.

His use of tariffs might have made him feel tough, but tell that to the nation's farmers in the Midwest. The same one's who voted for the rascal in 2016.

China is no longer buying agricultural items from the U.S and the farmers have to be bailed out like welfare recipients by the federal government.

In the tradition of successful con men, Trump promised anything to get a vote... and hasn't delivered on any of his promises.

That includes the economy. Trump was riding the rising market that Obama had restored after the great recession his first two years. By passing a tax con he doubled the wealth of the rich and screwed the middle class.

That carried the economy up until now. Anyone following the market can see what's currently happening; we're heading for another recession.

The U.S. economy has been growing steadily since the summer of 2009, making it the second-longest expansion on record.

Now, Trump's clumsy efforts to juice the economy through the use of tariffs has the USA sliding into a full-on trade war with China.

But even the greatest con men end up paying a price for their deeds. It might takes years before they are fully exposed, but history inevitably seeks them out.

Trump's con has brought this country to the brink of chaos. These are not normal times. All we can do is resist his attempts to divide us by race and ideology, until he's gone.

Final Humiliation: Foreign Countries Warn Citizens USA Not Safe To Visit

                                      Good Day World!

The final humiliation...

The violence in America has spiked in the last three years, and the result is foreign countries are warning their citizens who travel to America to beware of the violence here.

One country, Uruguay, has warned it's citizens to avoid places where large concentrations of people are, such as theme parks, malls, art festivals, religious activities, food festivals, sports events and mass protests.

In another words, visit at your own peril.

The Japanese Consul in Detroit published an alert Sunday that said Japanese citizens, "should be aware of potential for gunfire" everywhere in the U.S., which they described as a "gun society."

Consider this; once upon a time, people came to America to avoid violence in their own countries. We were the world's sanctuary for citizens from Third World counties, and dictators worldwide.

Now, to our national shame, we seem unable to do anything about mass shootings, or our out-of-control gun society.

Our political parties are so polarized it's nearly impossible to pass any legislation, and to get Trump to sign on to it, regardless of if it was a bipartisan bill.

This political limbo is endangering the lives of all Americans daily.

When we can't even get voter protection legislation against foreign powers passed... we're in a deadly limbo;

When we can't pass ANY gun safety laws... we're in a deadly limbo.

The reason is we have a racist president who is a divider.

One thing keeps coming back to me... we're in a national crisis that's challenging our core values. Democracy is giving way to something darker under the Trump administration.

There has to be a course correction soon to stop any further damage to our Constitution and government. Either through impeachment, or electing a new president in 2020.

Meanwhile we have to suffer the indignity of watching America's standing in the world community plummet because of Trump's isolationist and racist policies.

It's our sad reality when Forbes puts out a list of the 20 Most Dangerous Cities in America. Tourists worldwide are getting the message that the land of the free, is not the land of safety.

Redefining America: One Mass Shooting at a Time

                                         Good Day World!

It's painful watching racism rend our country apart.

Every generation has had to deal with the ever-evolving influx of immigrants from all over the world. While we are a nation of immigrants we act like each new tide is unworthy to truly join our ranks as American citizens.

Treating immigrants poorly is one side of the American coin, while the other welcomes them with open arms. This paradox has persisted throughout our history.

We live in a time when our president is the great divider, instead of the great uniter. He's also a racist.

There's been a mass shooting event every day this year, plus some days with multiple shootings like in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio last week.

Racists feel empowered under Trump. FBI crime statistics bear this out since he slunk into the Oval Office.

When you have a political party with a majority in the Senate that are beholden to the NRA (the top 10 senators who get the most donations from the NRA are Republicans), any kind of gun control legislation is dead upon arrival.

After every mass shooting Republicans talk about prayers and how the problem isn't guns... it's mentally ill people, lone wolves, or violent video games.

Democrats in Congress have passed some bipartisan common sense gun bills this year, but Moscow Mitch and his comrades don't even allow them to get to the senate floor.

After a particularly horrible slaughter of innocents the country rocks back and forth in grief and anger.

What's happening is a redefinition of the word safe...in a society that has sunken into political chaos and is increasingly under assault from extremists in our midst.

Each mass shooting we become less safe. It's not going to be easy to turn the corner on this dark part of our history. It's going to take a real change in our government.

The Trump regime has managed to cripple our morals, ethics, and rule of law, and will be remembered for unleashing alt-right extremists into the mainstream.

Next year's elections are crucial.

Either were sink further into the morass of history, much like Rome, or we rediscover who we are; a people who believe in life, liberty, and justice.

Meanwhile, we must stand up to lies and injustice at every turn. Until then, try and be safe.

Are We So Numb That Mass Shootings No Longer Shock Us?

Good Day World!

This last week has been horrific.

It's time to declare we have a national crisis, and to do something about it.

Twenty-nine innocent people (mostly Hispanic) were slaughtered by racists in the space of six days. In addition, over 50 were wounded in the three separate attacks from Gilroy, California; to El Paso, Texas; to Dayton, Ohio.

All committed by young white men with assault rifles. Does anyone see a pattern here? I do. It's called domestic terrorism, although the FBI doesn't classify it that way... yet.

The majority of mass murderers identify with nationalist/supremacist screeds and are young white men. Just look at this year, for numerous examples.

I'm concerned that all of this daily violence is having a numbing effect on people. There's been 250 mass shootings in the last 215 days! It sounds more like a war zone than the land of the free.

Yet, despite these horrendous statistics, there's been no movement on common sense gun control. Our polarized Senate and House have a major problem getting anything (other than emergency bills like balancing the budget) passed.

As families of all of these victims mourn their senseless losses today, all the members of the House and Senate are staying away...on vacation.

Are we as a country content to live with this increasingly common reality of mass shootings? I haven't seen any nationwide, or even state, marches or movements insisting on gun control... yet.

America seems unable to address the continuing violence and the racism that feeds the fire that motivates these domestic terrorists.

We don't have a president to lead us through this dark chapter of our history. Instead, our president fuels the fires of white nationalists who are committing these murderous assaults, at every opportunity. Including his rallies for re-election.

In an era where the president goes out of his way to divide by party and race, people are depressed and anxious. The constant mass shootings are having the effect of further numbing their senses.

Our reality today: t
here's no safe haven in our society from maniacs with assault rifles, and not enough people ready to do something about it.

I keep seeing polls where the majority of Americans want more gun control, yet nothing happens.

Until this silent majority becomes active politically... this is our present, and future.

Time for me to walk on down the road...

The Not-So-Excellent Adventures in DonnyLand

Good Day World!

We live in a perverted reality under an ex-reality star whose goal is to turn America into his own Magic Kingdom.

The majority of Americans are reluctant subjects trying hard to hold onto their values, like defending truth and the promises in the Constitution that guarantee we're all equal and have certain rights.

Trump is having the adventure of his life being a cult-like figure with the alt-right. The country has been his personal amusement park for the last two-and-a-half years.

Thus far, his not-so-excellent adventures have resulted in:

1) A humanitarian crisis on the southern border.
2) Increased isolation from America's traditional allies.
3) Befriending every dictator/king/strongman on the planet.
4) A race war where minorities are increasingly marginalized.
5) Holding Congress hostage with his abuse of power.
6) Defying all traditions and ethics with impunity.
7) Defiantly telling lies every day of his presidency.
8) An all out assault against journalists and news sites by discrediting them with claims of "fake news."
9) Selling an alternate reality by spinning the truth relentlessly.
10) The demise of the Republican Party.

That's just the top ten consequences of Trump's corruption and disruption of our whole society and system of government.

Short of impeachment (which seems unlikely right now), we're playthings in DonnyLand until next November.
