Time for Another Blog Break As Baboons in Congress Play Games

Good Day World!

I'm going to take another blog break while the ass-hats in the White House and Congress continue to play partisan politics like seagulls stealing each others food!

I'll be back on February 13th. 

Another shutdown that lasted for a few hours. Congress kicked the can down the road again until March 23 for a permanent bill. No DACA. Sad.

Random Observations

I'm surprised the heavens didn't open up and send thunderbolts streaking down on Donny when he spoke at a Prayer Breakfast the other day.

Maybe Jim Carrey knows something we don't. He recently called for people to delete their Facebook accounts and to dump their stocks. Hmmmmm...

The Millennium Tower opened to great acclaim with high-priced, posh apartments. But those accolades and property values are sinking, along with the building's foundation.

WH Soap Opera Fans Tune In To Another Sleazy Drama

Good Day World!

Let's start the day with another episode of Cirque Du Trump, staring aides who have been bad.

Opening scene: 

A top aide to Trump, Rob Porter is resigning under a cloud of spousal abuse. 

After months of the White House claiming that Porter was full of integrity and honor, it only took one day for the White House PR machine to flip-flop from that position like a dying carp.

In case you're wondering why the sudden change of mind it has to do with the fact that Trump and company knew about his abuse against his two former wives, but covered it up.

Why?

Perhaps because Porter and another trusted Trump aide, Hope Hicks, were "dating." Juicy stuff.

How's that for good soap opera material?

The Trump Triad: Memos, Shutdowns, and Parades

Good Day World!

I'm back.

I've been detached from my digital addiction for a couple of weeks and went on vacation.

Had a great time. Good food. Booze. People. No politics.

Now that I'm back (briefly - I'm checking out again this weekend Feb.10 and 11, to attend a Wine and Chocolate release in Lodi, California) I have a few comments to make.

On the possibility of a government shut down Friday, Feb. 9

I strongly suspect government shutdowns will be Trump's legacy to America, as he causes a record number to occur  throughout whatever time he has left in the Oval Office.

Right now, the Moron-In-Charge is saying he wants a government shutdown. He plans on the Democrats being blamed, even though he's the real disruptor in the negotiations to balance the budget. 

Then there's dictator love...

Donny wants a parade just like they do in North Korea, China, and Russia.

Donny has something about generals and weapons on parade. No matter that the tanks he wants in his parade would tear up Pennsylvania Avenue.

The fact that his generals are huddled together planning on spending millions on a parade to please Trump is disgusting and hypocritical.

And a waste of tax payers money!

Trump is lobbying for more money for the military so he can have his parade. It's that simple. We don't need a parade because Donny has a small penis.

And, as for the infamous Nune's memo and being vindicated by it, Donny is dreaming. One way, or the other, the Democrat response to the memo is going to be released.

But, by then Donny will be lighting more fires... torching our Department of Justice, and the FBI for starters.
