Some foreign visitors today...
I wonder if it was someone in our military? Or could it have been a lusting Iraqi who thinks Pallin's pretty hot?
Canada rang in again today with three new visitors from: Burnaby, British Columbia, Toronto, Ontario, and Prince Edward Island. They all wanted a peek at the now famous Pukin Pumpkin photo I posted a while back.
Cheerio oh! to some bloke from London, England who stopped in to see an old post titled Recycle or Else!
Meanwhile you Pukin Pumpkin fans continue to check in from all over America today!
Hopping Horned Frog Picks Pumpkin for Halloween
THIS SURINAM HORNED FROG IS READY FOR HALLOWEEN AS HE PERCHES ON HIS GOURD THRONE.
Readers of this blog have recently demonstrated an interest in PUMPKINS (See Pukin Pumpkins Post) lately so I am unabashedly playing to this interest by providing this fine frog, and his pick from a pumpkin patch, for their previewing pleasure!

WHO SAID McCAIN WAS ERRATIC?
JUST BECAUSE McCAIN HAS "SENIOR MOMENTS" IT DOESN'T MEAN HE'S NOT READY TO LEAD OUR COUNTRY INTO CONTINUED WARFARE FOR ANOTHER GENERATION.
I"M BACK! and YOU NEVER LEFT!
As repeaters know, I tried to make a few entries while traveling, but they were pretty pathetic!
Still..you came, and in record numbers.
How about I just share the last few days of visits from foreign visitors, and the out-of-state visitors?
Those of you here in California turned out in your usual strong numbers from all over this state every day I was gone.
I could find no common theme for what the visitors from overseas were reading. They picked a variety of posts and past columns.
Canada sent the most from any one country.
FOREIGN COUNTRIES:
Heilbronn, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany; Dhahran, Ash Shargiyah, Saudi Arabia; Kemptville, Ontario, Canada; Wemmel, Brabant, Belgium; Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa; Balzac, Alberta, Canada; Angers, Pay De La loire, France; London, United Kingdom; Berlin, Germany; Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada; Kitchener, Ontario, Canada; Prince George, British Columbia, Canada; and Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.
FROM THROUGHOUT THE USA:
Tok, Alaska (Hi Dave!); Aiea, Hawaii; Concord, North Carolina; Massillon, Ohio; Greensberg, North Carolina; Greenville, North Carolina; Naperville, Illinois; Bloomington, Illinois; Henderson, Neveda; Beaverton Oregon; Roxbury, Vermont; Tampa, Florida; Piedmont, South Carolina; Pulaski, Wisconsin; Washing, DC; Des Moines, Iowa; Salt Lake City, Utah; Dallas, Texas; Sisseton, South Dakota; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Lawerncebery, Indiana; Neptune, New Jersey; Liberty, Tennessee; Seattle, Washington; Schaumburg, Illinois; Greer, South Carolina; Columbia City, Indiana; Hyde Park, New York; Troy, Michigan; Florence, Alabama; Martin, Michigan; Smithfield, North Carolina; Warren, New Jersey; Mcdonough, Georgia; Mount Gilead, Ohio; Atlanta, Georgia; St. Louis, Missouri; Valparaiso, Indiana; and Williamson, New York.
I wondered what most of the USA visitor's came to see or read, so I checked it out and guess what?
The majority weren't interested in my past blogs or columns...nope...they pulled up a past post featuring a great photo of several drunken pumpkins (and one was throwing up!) I titled it PUKING PUMPKINS... and you came from all over the USA to see them!
Hmmmmm....I'm going to have to digest (pun intended) that!

SEE SUNDAY'S TIME-STANDARD
Well... blogger buddies and any other visitors who may stop in to take a snoop today, I thank you for stopping by. I'll be back home on Monday and will post a New Blog (with the usual bell and whistles) sometimes Monday afternoon.
I'll take the weather in Humboldt anyday! I's been so hot and dry down here that my sinus's are dried up and I'm getting an occassional nosebleed. The sheer mass of people everywhere I've been this last five or six days is overwhelming!
Talk about road rage. Yikes! I've seen several bad accidents and drivers that post speeds of 100 mph or more on the freeway (and some surface streets in Hemet and San Jacinto. In my travels I noticed that someone has built houses right next to the Parris Lake Dam. Talk about stupid and greedy.
That seems to be the story for city planners down here. They build wherever, fault lines be damned, and they get away with it. Just another case of a crumbling infrastructure.
I can't wait to get home and dial this blog back in!
Peace.

Winds and whiskey
My Dad and I polished a bottle of good whiskey off the other night.
The clues I gave earlier have been referring to SAN BERNARDINO.
Gave yourself a gold star if you got it. Since then I have been hopping around most of southern California and going to too many places to list here.
It's been fun, but I'm already longing to come home. Humboldt is my paradise.
I didn't watch the debate last night because I'm burned out with both parties rhetoric. I wish this race were over.

I'm back again....
The winds down here have been very strong.
The county I'm in is the largest one in California and close to being the largest county in America.
That famous Route 66 runs through this county.
I'm already thinking about coming home and I have six days left down here! I'm use to being in my bunker communicating with the world via my computer, so I'm really out of my comfort zone right now.
My biggest challenge is my PTSD. I have trouble being around lots of people, and the traffic down here stresses me to the max. I am trying to let others do the driving while I'm here. It's just one of the precautions that I'm taking.
Most people don't have any idea what people with PTSD go through daily. The challenges are many and varied depending where I'm at.
That's about all for today. Thanks for visiting today, and I'll be doing a lot of updating when I get home. Meanwhile, don't be shy...take a look around and check out the archives for this blog and the other sources I've provided.
Peace.

HERE I AM....
I'm somewhere in the state of California. (Ah heck...Southern California).
Wyatt Earp retired in this city not long after it was formed.
Two words.
That's it for now, I've got things to do. Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you here later.
