An Easy Question: Which Political Party Is Dedicated To Voter Suppression?

Republicans don't want all Americans to vote because they know the majority would vote against them.

The co-opted GOP, aka the Party of Trump, has pulled out all the stops this year to make sure the next election will disenfranchise minorities who are more likely to vote for Democrats.

That's no secret, by the way. One Arizona Republican lawyer admitted as much; "We won't win if the majority of voters have access to the system."

In any other era such blatant public corruption would have meet obstacles; with the exception of the Jim Crow years.

As of February, GOP state legislators in 43 states have introduced 250 bills with restrictive voting provisions.

The Democrats are fighting back however.

Today, President Joe Biden signed an executive order expanding voter access in what the White House calls an "initial step in it's efforts to protect the right to vote and ensure all eligible citizens can freely participate in the electoral process."

The next step is passing HR1, a sweeping ethics and election package aimed at ensuring voting rights. The House has already passed it and it's on the way to the Senate.

President Biden also called on Congress to restore parts of the Voting Rights Act struck down by the Supreme Court in 2013 and advocated rights and access.

It won't be easy. The Republicans arededicated to their task and prepared to obstruct every move towards voter equality.

It's a simple and clear narrative - the only way Republicans can win is by cheating.
