What a Wonderful World Despite The Evening News

"I hear babies crying, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll ever know
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Yes, and I think to myself what a wonderful world!"
-Louis Armstrong

Good Day World!

If you're one of those adventurous souls who gets stressed out watching the daily news every evening, I have some good news for you.

The world isn't all that bad.

I know what you see. Headline news is always about death, destruction, and very bad things happening to people around the world.

Good news is never going to get the same billing as Bad news, because there's a lot of people who want to see it. It's that simple.

You can stop watching the news and start tuning into some of the great new fall comedies that have been coming out. One of my favorite is the Big Bang Theory

What I'm saying is you can reclaim your TV and stop it from being a source of stress to one of relaxation. If you really need to know what's happening in the nation, and the world daily, try reading a newspaper.

Sounds old fashioned doesn't it? But consider this; no TV personality is putting a spin on the news items your reading. Just be aware that newspapers can put spins on news stories too.

You just have to find one you trust. You might try BBC, Rueters, or AP news releases.

To summerize; if you watch TV for entertainment - comedy, documentaries, etc., it can be a good thing. Of course, too much of anything isn't good. Moderation is a great idea.

Finally, it is a wonderful world, and it's good to be alive. Much better, than say, the alternative!

Time for me to walk on down the road...
