It's 'Stormy' Out, and Trump is Looking for an Umbrella

From day one, Trump's reign on the land has felt like a biblical curse.

Where once we had a working democracy, we now have chaos; as Trump assaults the very institutions our government depends on.

Nothing is exempt from his biblical temper tantrums. The Department of Justice. The FBI. The Supreme Court. The 9th District Appeals Court. The list goes on.

So, it's no surprise that people rejoice when Trump is thwarted in the courts, or by laws of the land.

Like the bad kings in the Bible, when Trump is finally unseated, he and his heirs will pay an enormous price for their evil ways.

The country waits every week - watching Trump's every move, hoping justice will win out in the end.

Hopes of being free from Trump's  noxious regime are getting closer every day however.

Special Counsel Mueller is hovering over Trump, as he goes after his cronies during the investigation for his campaign coordination with Russia.

Fittingly enough, what may finally bring Trump down is a porn star named Stormy Daniels.

Her lawyer opened a Pandora's Box into Trump's world when he started commenting on his client getting hush money for not telling the story of her affair with Trump, days before the election.

Two days ago, the FBI raided Trump's personal lawyer, Michael Cohen's office, home, and apartment. He was the one who paid Stormy $130,000.

Information leaking out after the raids (which included his cell phones) makes one thing clear; authorities have transcripts of Trump and Cohen talking about how to get rid of the threat Daniels posed.

Whoa!

Pieces of one puzzle are falling into place. Trump and Cohen are both lying about Daniels. 

When the hammer comes down, it's going to be for illegal campaign contributions - a violation of federal law. For Cohen it doesn't stop there; he's also facing bank fraud.

For Trump, it means disaster. 

The other puzzle falling into place, is the Russian investigation. Some pundits believe it will be complete before the end of the year... if Trump doesn't fire him first.

There's more than dark clouds over Trump's head right now. It's raining and Stormy. The weather is only going to get worse in the days and months ahead.

Sinclair Brodcasting is Another Propaganda Arm for Trump

Under the Trump regime the use of abusive employment contracts has spiked, inspired no doubt, by our Liar-In-Chief's history of muzzling his employees.

Trump who considers himself the master of None Disclosure Agreements for employees, has set the bar for companies like Sinclair Broadcasting.

More corporations are taking advantage of their workers by requiring them to agree to terms entirely favorable to the company, and to the employees detriment.

There's one particular company, Sinclair Broadcasting, that makes their workers sign an agreement to pay the company if they decide to leave.

The contract calls it "liquidated damages," but such a claim is only legal in rare circumstances in court. 

More worrisome, is the clause that keeps former employees from going to competitors for a set period of time.

To quickly summarize, Sinclair Broadcasting, owner of 193 local TV stations, is a right-wing media company seeking a monopoly in the media market.

Social media recently was abuzz about the TV anchors in all those Sinclair stations who had to read a prearranged script from the owners.

In it, there's meat for Trump followers, like claiming other news outlets are...fake news, and feature biased hacks. 

Which brings us back to Trump who loves Sinclair Broadcasting, and who has been the inspiration for the right wing corporate owners since he slunk into office.

As a retired journalist, I'm ashamed for all those news anchors who had to set aside everything they were taught in college, and act more like a parrot than a legitimate news anchor.

There's no wonder Trump likes Sinclair Broadcasting.

During his campaign for president, he struck a deal with Sinclair Broadcasting Group for favorable coverage - which he got, thanks to son-in-law Jared Kushner.

Now Sinclair is seeking to acquire more TV stations by purchasing Tribune Media.

The Federal Communications Commission (under Trump puppet Ajit Pai) has allowed the company to consolidate more power and centralize more news production.

Combined with Fox News, where Trump usually gets his marching orders, Sinclair will continue to expand and praise his every move.

Anyone that cares about the free press should be concerned about the direction these real fake news outlets are going. Like Fox, viewers are assured of a lot of good news about Trump, and his corrupt administration.

To put it simply, it's Trump vs mainstream America.

Man Dies in Blaze Because there Were NO Sprinklers in Trump Tower

Today, I'm going to give you a graphic example of what kind of businessman Trump was before Russia got him elected president.

History of Trump Tower

The building was completed in 1983, several years before sprinkler systems were mandated.

Owners of older, residential high-rises were required to add the systems only when major renovations take place.

However, the more responsible owners put in the new sprinkler systems to assure their residents were safe.

Some fire-safety advocates wanted older apartment buildings to be retrofitted with sprinklers when the city began requiring them in new residential high-rises almost 20 years ago.

Some developers, like Trump, argued that the vast majority of fatal fires rage in smaller multi-family homes, not high-rises.

Trump's buddy, then-mayor Rudy Giuliani, supported him and the other shady developers by citing cost concerns for the life-saving devices.

The New York Times reported in 1999 that Trump opposed the legislation, claiming that he could not afford to put sprinklers in his buildings.

According to The New York Post, Trump called at least six city council members to lobby against the sprinkler rules, and he even retired the campaign debt of one councilman at a cost of $5,000.

It was that decision that killed 67-year old Todd Brassner, and injured six firefighters, who weren't able to rescue him.

Afterward, Trump tweeted that the blaze was "very confined" citing a "well-built building," and thanked the firefighters.

He didn't say a damn word about Brassner's death.

The way Trump callously ignored Brassner's death, tells volumes about the moron.

It's What Happening Behind The Scenes That Worries Me

As long as Trump continues to tweet I get a sense of what's driving the moron. 

It's what's happening behind closed doors in the Oval Office that worries me.

When Trump didn't let any reporters into the Oval Office when he was talking to two Russian officials a while back, it was a signal that he didn't want Americans to know what he was really talking to them about.

No members of his staff or security team were present. Afterwards, Trump let Russian photographers take photos and distribute them to American reporters who were banned from covering the meeting.

That's just one situation that happens to be documented.

Imagine what's going on with the secret discussions with the North Koreans about planning a summit where both dictators can meet and compare hand size!

There's nothing Trump enjoys more than secret meetings. He has a career built upon dark secrets, lies, and associating with known Mafia figures during his casino days.

I suspect the North Koreans are going to make fools of Trump's negotiators, and the Liar-in-Chief if he ever does sit down with Rocket Man.

For the record, Rocket Man has been playing this game a lot longer than Donny! Throwing a new asshole into the equation like John Bolton almost guarantees things are not going to go well.

Bolton's loyalties lie with, his mustache, Trump, and fellow warmongers.

The thought of Trump and Bolton behind closed doors is chilling.

To add a cherry on top of my concern, when Trump gets rid of Chief-of-Staff Kelly there won't be any more adults in the room.

Last week it was like Godzilla unleashed, as Trump attacked everything and everyone, finally calling out the National Guard because he wants us to believe we're being invaded by hoards of rapist Hispanics!

The fact is, Donny was pissed off that he didn't get enough money for his Wall in the new budget, so he decided to pander to his fear-stricken base and call out the military to line our southern border.

In the end, Don the Con, has no conscience or morals. It's about personally winning, and if he has to do that behind closed doors...no problem!
