Here's a Prime Example of Trump's Foreign Deal-Making Follies

Good Day World!

"Life happens. Coffee helps." -Anonymous

When we last heard about Trump's fabulous foreign deal-making abilities a crisis in the Middle East (of his own doing) was brewing.

Now, in the latest example of what a loser Trump is when it comes to dealing with other countries, we find that the idiot actually asked Congress to pay the Afghanistan Taliban's expenses to sit down and negotiate earlier this year.

I agree with Steve Ellis, executive vice president of Taxpayers For Common Sense:

"Even if you leave aside that they are still conducting operations against our interests and allies, having to pay for someone to be at the table undercuts our bargaining position and demonstrates their lack of enthusiasm for a deal," he said.

"I'm sure the Taliban would like whatever cash we're willing to give them, but it's not like they aren't going to continue funding their fighting," he added.

In summary:

Trump is such a lousy deal-maker that he's resorting to paying our enemies to sit down and talk.

I've been around since Truman was president, and have never heard of any American president making such a stupid attempt at negotiating with a hostile foreign power.

Can you imagine if Roosevelt would have offered to pay Adolf Hitler, or Hideki Tojo, to sit down and talk things over?

Now we have to face the reality that the orange ape in the Oval Office is a shitty deal-maker with no moral compass...who doesn't listen to his advisers.

Time for me to walk on down the road...
