War Clouds Gathering: Trump Sends 10,000 Troops to Caribbean

Our First Felon is looking for a war. 

Any war abroad or at home will do. 

In the middle of waging a war against Democrats and all Americans, Trump shifted his focus onto the Caribbean today and sent 10,000 troops including America's most elite special operations unit the "Night Stalkers" that are nuclear-capable bombers - to the waters off Venezuela.

The illegal operations being carried out by US Navy warships - there's eight of them and a nuclear submarine - are tasked with sinking suspected drug traffickers' boats off the shore of Venezuela.

This military buildup is the largest in the Caribbean since the 1980s - and follows at least six deadly strikes on boats off the Venezuelan coast, which Washington claims were carrying illegal drugs.

Critics call the killings extrajudicial executions that the US is operating outside international law. Leave it to Trump to overlook laws in pursuit of his goals. In another moment of stupidity, the Orange Clown confirmed he had authorized the CIA to conduct covert operations inside Venezuela. Duh! They're not so secret now Donny.

Facing overwhelming US firepower, Venezuelan tyrant Maduro is mobilizing troops, militias and Russian-made fighter jets in a show of defiance. State TV pumps out propaganda portraying the United States as a Nazi-like aggressor bent on stealing Venezuela's oil. They may not be that far off in their assessment when talking about Trump and his misuse of power.

The sudden resignation of Admiral Alvin Holsey, the four-star commander of US Southern Command, has added to the intrigue. He knows what's happening is illegal and decided not to be involved in baiting Venezuela into a war that they can't win while the world looks on in shock. 

Senator Jack Reed warned: "At a moment when US forces are building up across the Caribbean and tensions with Venezuela are at a boiling point, the departure of our top military commander in the region sends an alarming signal of instability." What's happening is not right or normal. Anyone with a brain can see that.

Trump loves being a bully. He's really nothing more than a chickenhawk with bone spurs who enjoys being the "Boss" and firing anyone who stands in his way. It's his "Apprentice schtick" that never went away.

Live Fire Military Event on 'No Kings Day' is a Show of Power: Missiles over I-5 Freeway!

Republicans are melting down in desperation over this Saturday's "No Kings Day" national protest against Trump and his corrupt regime.

After seeing about 5 million Americans turn out for the first "No Kings Day" in June to protest, Trump and his henchmen are doing their best to interfere with the second one. 

Top GOP leaders in Congress are trying to flip the script by calling the peaceful protest a "Day of Hate," and spreading lies about who is responsible for planning the massive protest.

The Trump regime is trying to intimidate peaceful protestors with a LIVE-FIRE DISPLAY involving sending armed missiles from war ships over the I-5 freeway today (for 17 miles) towards Camp Pendleton training grounds under the auspices of the Navy and Marines 250th Anniversary. 

The US has NEVER fired missiles into the homeland before. 

The demonstration of power is going to showcase integrated Navy and Marine Corps operations and is expected to be attended by VP couch-hugger Vance and Pistol Pete Hegseth, Secretary of War Defense.

Trump has shut down the government. Now he's trying to shut down an imaginary group called Antifa which he claims are domestic terrorists. The GOP cowards have been ramping up the chaos in the country and now it looks like there's nothing they won't do to ruin the "No Kings Day" protest."

California Gov. Gavin Newsom criticized the naked display of power as an unnecessary "spectacle," with no coordination from California officials.

One of my biggest concerns is that ICE agents will be trying to make arrests with an eye towards causing a riot. They're hoping to call the military in and make mass arrests. The fact that White House Production Department (a new propaganda outlet) is recording the demonstration for a TV broadcast makes me wonder if they're really there to film an expected riot.

Right wing media has been doing their part in sharing lies and misinformation about "No Kings Day." The reason why Maga politicians are panicking is because they see Americans uniting against their tyranny in greater numbers every day.

Watching the protest, which is expected to have more participants than last time, will be a stark reminder that Americans are fighting back against an authoritarian regime that's trying to take away their First Amendment rights. 

Trump's "Vanity Parade" timing is suspicious, if not downright obvious. 

As it Stands, as a Vietnam veteran I'm disgusted with the way Trump abuses our military to make political statements.

Trump isn't the Only One Carrying Out a Purge of his Enemies: Meet Pete Hegseth

Here's why weird things are happening in the Department of War Defense.

Pete Hegseth (ex-Fox News host and infamous drunk) barely got nominated as Defense Secretary nine months ago. He was so hurt by the bad press revealing his sordid past (a sexual assault case while he was in the military) that he embarked on a revenge tour remarkably like Trump's.

It's been Hegseth versus the mainstream media and military Judge Advocate Generals who reprimanded him on the use of rocket-propelled grenades, since he slid into a position to exact revenge on his perceived enemies. (Sound familiar?) His latest attack against the press involves sweeping restrictions on journalists' ability to report at the Pentagon.

The 21-page policy requires credentialed reporters who sign the document to acknowledge they understand Hegseth's view that by requesting any information - including unclassified material that has not been preapproved for release by the Pentagon, they are "soliciting or encouraging government employees to break the law."

Putting an Orwellian twist on the attack against the free press journalists were told to leave the building and not to come back until they agreed to Pete's outrageous restrictions.

I have to admit I was surprised to see Fox News, Newsmax, The New York Times, Washington Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal, Axios, The Hill, Reuters, NPR, ABC News, and CBS News rejected the ridiculous demand.

Only one news organization agreed to Hegseth's policy. The cable news network One America News has indicated they plan to sign the policy.

Note. It's unclear on what's going to happen next.

Meanwhile Pistol Pete has been dismantling our military services by firing all of the top leaders in every branch of the US military. He fired three senior political appointees in April, shrinking a small group of senior advisers and putting his trust into infamous mob lawyer Tim Parlatore.

Tim Parlatore's dual status as a mid-ranking military officer and legal fixer for Hegseth has defense officials concerned. His part-time arrangement allowed Parlatore to remain Hegseth's lawyer in a sexual assault case that almost upended his confirmation.

Helping Hegseth on his revenge tour Parlatore played a leading role in the use of polygraph tests to scrutinize officials suspected of disclosing to the news media embarrassing details about the dysfunction among the secretary's senior aides.

The fix is in because Parlatore wormed his way into the Defense Department Office of Inspector General as its investigators conducted a review of how Hegseth and his senior aides handled sensitive information in what has become known as the SignalGate affair. 

Beside Hegseth, Parlatore has taken on a lot of high-profile clients, like accused mobsters, and, for a time, Trump as he faced prosecution by the Justice Department in a case scrutinizing his handling of classified documents.

As it Stands, everything is circular in Trump world. Revenge tours, crooked lawyers, and the distain for the rule of law.

Funding Failing Argentina is Another MAGA Grift

It seems suspicious that Trump shut down our government while giving a 20-billion-dollar bailout to a failing country, Argentina. Why are American taxpayer dollars being poured into a South American money pit desperately trying to avoid complete economic chaos?

How is this benefiting Americans? 

It isn't.

It's just another example of Trump's corrupt dealing with other countries. Treasure Secretary Maga Scott Bessent announced that the U.S. has begun implementing parts of a bailout for Argentina by finalizing a $20 billion currency swap with Argentina's central bank.

For the record Argentina's far-right President Javier Milei is a longtime ally of Trump. Isn't it interesting how many dictator pals Don the Con has? He collects them like other people collect rare and precious objects.

Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren said, "It is inexplicable that President Trump is propping up a foreign government, while he shuts down our own."

Good point. Argentina is at a risk of a financial collapse, and thousands of Americans aren't being paid because Trump cronies shut down the government. More than a million federal workers are being furloughed or working without pay.

You know who is benefiting by bailing out a South American dictator? Wealthy fund managers who are major holders of Argentina debts and assets. It's a major windfall to Rob Citrone, a billionaire hedge fund manager and personal friend of Treasure Secretary Maga Bessent. 

Don't be surprised. This kind of underhanded dealing among the wealthy in the Trump regime is commonplace. Our government is riddled with grifters who are getting richer every day.

As it Stands, how did a felon and convicted sex abuser ever slink in the Oval Office? Ask Elon Musk. He knows.

MAGA Meltdowns: From Threatening a "Bad Bunny' to Frogs in Portland

While Trump threatens the nation with the possibility that he'll invoke the Insurrection Act, his devoted followers are more concerned about a "Bad Bunny" performing at Superbowl 2026 during halftime.

It's hard to understand why Trump and his acolytes are so afraid of a bunny. It must tie in with their fear of "Furries" putting cat sand boxes in conservative restrooms. But I digress.

MAGA minions are floundering around trying to prove that Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, aka Bad Bunny, is not worthy of such a large American audience. A Fox News host, Tomi Lahren, falsely claimed Bad Bunny wasn't an American artist. It's apparent that Lahren wasn't aware that the Puerto Rician star is automatically a US citizen. But what are facts to the glorious leader's supporters? Dust in the wind.

Racist MAGA morons are really upset with the fact that Bad Bunny has said mean things about their glorious leader. Conservative political extremist Benny Johnson summarized on X why MAGA supporters are pissed about Bad Bunny.

"Massive Trump hater - Anti-ICE activist - no songs in English," he whined.

It gets worse.

Puppy-killer Kristi Noem, who is unfortunately the Homeland Security Secretary, is talking tough and gleefully bragging, "US Immigration and Customs Enforcement will be all over the 2026 Superbowl," maintaining her bitch credentials. Noem also gloated, "The NFL will not be able to sleep at night over its decision to choose Bad Bunny as the halftime performer."  

 
Meanwhile, if you'll look to your left you'll see Portland, Oregon. 

I realize you may not be fully aware of what's happening there due to Trump's lies about the city being a burning hell hole that requires surging the military unlawfully into the state.

Brace yourself as we go ground the town documenting what's really happening. 

Oh look! There's an ICE facility under siege by a bunch of frogs and assorted animals. 

They're protestors in disguise but watching them frolic about to upbeat music is a surreal scene in the midst of the conservative propaganda threatening civilians' rights. One of the Frogs has inspired other amphibian protestors, and I hear there's a Portland chapter already called Frogs for Peace.

As you can see, the Frogs are a humorous symbol of resistance. Go ahead and wave at them. They're fighting for your rights.

HIS Stunts to Bury Epstein Files Aren't Fooling Americans

HE shut down the government.

Then HE fired thousands of workers

After that HE illegally invaded American cities with military combat units in a display that every dictator in the world would recognize. 

Meanwhile HE's ordering the DOJ to hunt down his political enemies (and people HE just doesn't like) in an open display of totalitarian power.

The list gets deeper every day.

Qatar On HIS Mind

HE got a gift airplane from Qatar, a Muslim country that is well-known for financing terrorist groups like Hamas. HE's allowing that same Qatari government to build a military base in Idaho - something the US has never allowed a foreign country to do before. 

And HE signed a deal to build a Golf Course and Hotel Resort. It's still not clear what other gifts HE's getting or what other gifts he's giving. 

I'm sure it's just coincidence that Attorney General Pam Bondi was a lobbyist for Qatar for two years. It so just happens that the are other suspicious connections to Qatar in the current administration. 

Chief of Staff Susie Wiles was also a lobbyist for Qatar. Then we have Kash (bug eyes) Patel, FBI Director and right-wing extremist who served as a security and intelligence consultant to the Embassy of Qatar, through his firm, Trishul LLC, from early 2021 until November 2024. 

Steve Witkoff the special envoy to the Middle East had his investment in New York's Park Lane Hotel for $623 million purchased by Qatar's sovereign wealth fund.

Lee Zeldin, the administrator for the EPA worked for a venture capital firm which was founded by the Qatar royals.

Qatari links to HIS administration may run deeper according to a Wall Street Journal in 2018 article that claimed Qatar had a list of 250 people close to him to influence him.

The Clincher.

The lengths MAGA Mike Johnson is going to avoid a vote on releasing the Epstein Files are ridiculous and disturbing.

Shutting the House down to avoid swearing in of a new Democrat who represents the needed vote to release the infamous pedophile, is blatantly partisan... and chickenshit.

Regardless of all the stunts HE is pulling HE isn't fooling anybody. The fact that HE keeps piling on diversions shows HE's desperate to hide the Epstein files.

Trump Deserves a Nobel 'Impeachment' Prize for Qatari Air Base in Idaho

"It's not fair!" the first felon ranted when he found out that he didn't receive a Nobel Peace prize. 

What Trump deserves is to be impeached for the crimes he and his minions are committing daily.

Now we're finding out that Trump has instructed Secretary of War Defense Pete Hegseth to put another country's air force base in Idaho! It sounds unreal but unfortunately its true.

The luxury Boeing 747 that Qatar "gifted" to Trump is starting to show the benefits the Qatari's are reaping for their open bribe to Donny.

In a press announcement Hegseth said, "I'm proud that today we're announcing - we're signing a letter of acceptance to build a Qatari Emiri air force facility at the Mountain Home Airbase in Idaho."

This is how dystopian things are becoming. Who could have ever imagined the United States would ever allow another country to build an air force base in America's heartland hosting a contingent of Qatari F-15s?

Hard core MAGA supporters were shocked at the news. Steve Bannon, former White House chief strategist during Trump's first term and architect of the MAGA movement told Newsweek in a text message, "There should never be a military base of foreign power on the sacred soil of America,"

Right wing extremist Laura Loomer told reporters, "I have never felt more betrayed by the GOP," over the move. In a post to Hegseth, who she calls friend," you should know how bad an idea it is to allow Terror financing Qataris who fund HAMAS and the Muslim Brotherhood to have an AIR FORCE BASE ON US SOIL."

Loomer added, "It's a shared delusion. We're not building peace. We're building a launchpad for the Islamic disaster."

What's really scary is that Trump's own followers are actually trying to preserve America's autonomy. A red line has been crossed in MAGAville. Even more telling Trump has accused Qatar of funding terrorists for years and now they're suddenly our buddies.

It's obvious what's going on. The deal isn't about patriotism; it's about power deals and quiet compromises that bypass the people and Congress.  Another example of the new coziness with Qatar, Trump struck a deal to build a luxury golf course resort there. The corruption is so blatant during his second term because Trump no longer has to contend with any governmental guard rails to preserve democracy. He even has the Supreme Court in his pocket.

To be clear, this isn't just about military co-training with foreign governments, we do that all of the time. We invite friendly governments to train with our pilots on American bases. This is the first time we're letting another government (with a dubious history) imbed a foreign military base on American soil.

As it Stands, this deal with the devil is more than enough to start impeachment proceedings, along with his other unconstitutional acts.

Staged Shows of Power Illustrate How Weak Trump Really Is

The same man who dodged the draft with bone spurs and tried to overthrow the government in 2021, is obsessed with showing how tough he is. The truth is Trump is a weak coward misusing the powers of the presidency to pursue his perceived enemies.

In other words, Trump is the enemy of the people. Instead of leading he's dividing and polarizing the nation every day. It's a sick irony that the man who filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy six times is now blatantly grifting cryptocurrency and meme coins in the White House.

Trump has declared war on American cities run by Democrats. He's illegally sending the military into states in a show of force as his private army, formerly known as ICE, attacks people of color daily on the streets, in the stores, in churches, in schools, and in businesses.

Today Trump is bragging about making permanent cuts to "Democratic programs." 

"We'll be cutting some very popular Democratic programs," he gushed like a schoolboy in love with his own image. "Frankly, because that's the way it works," he boasted.

The ongoing assault against Democratically run cities and states is getting more intense. Trump's bitch lapdog Kristi Noem is buying buildings in Chicago and Portland to permanently imbed Trump's private army like ticks on a dog.

As a transactional tyrant bullying Americans and countries abroad, the first felon has become democracy's worst nightmare. 

No sane scenario could have foretold the ascent of a demented real estate tycoon to a world leader. It should have never happened. Shame on all of the voters who elected the glorious leader. Their stupidity has rocked our republic to its very foundations.

Gathering all of the military top brass from every branch of service was another childish display of Trump's power. 

It was unreal watching a felon convicted on 34 counts lecture the best and brightest the United States military has to offer. He made it clear that if they weren't loyal to him, and not the Constitution, he'll ruin their careers and arbitrarily fire them. It was a cheap display of cowardice cloaked in faux patriotism.

While the world looks on, they see a rapidly deteriorating (both mentally and physically) 79-year-old man who lies so often he's a legend among truth-deniers worldwide.

Because cowards can be bullies Trump wields a big stick against both federal and civilian laws and norms. He ignores judge's rulings when he's not busy attacking them for decisions he doesn't agree with.

As it Stands, no matter how much makeup Trump wears he can't hide the fact that he's insecure and he fears people of color, women, and judges who uphold the law.

A Tragicomedy in America: A Lighter Moment on Trump's Assault of American Cities

Question: Why did the chicken cross the road?

Answer: He wanted to protest at an ICE Detention Center.

Protests against ICE in blue cities are being shown in two versions. 

In the alternative universe of cowardly Republicans, they are showing fake videos of what's happening at so-called besieged ICE faculties that need protection from the US military. 

In reality it's more like an ongoing tragicomedy starring Trump's private army pretending they are in imminent danger. From showing videos of riots from years ago to outright lying about what's really happening on the ground...in particular Portland, Oregon, Trump's minions' desperation is showing. 

Breaking on right wing media: "DHS Secretary Kristi Noem stares down an army of Antifa and a guy in a chicken suit from the rooftop of the ICE facility in Portland."

In the real world there was a guy in a chicken suit, but he wasn't accompanied by an army.

On the ground reports and videos show two small groups of people standing on the ground below that were in fact reporters with cameras, a single digit number of protestors (one had a megaphone) holding up posters, and one guy in a chicken suit who seems to have gotten under Noem's thin skin.

Trying to look and sound cool and in charge Noem told the right-wing reporters accompanying her clown show that, "the guy in the chicken suit could do better," in a voice dripping with sarcasm and stupidity.

Meanwhile the guy with a megaphone was inviting Noem to "come on down, I got a subway sandwich for ya!" The small chorus of protestors were chanting "No dogs here! Woof! Woof! Woof! referring to Noem's admission in her book that she shot a puppy after deeming her "untrainable" and "less than worthless."

If it wasn't so horrendous scenes like the above would be funny. Protestors at ICE facilities are showing up in complete costumes like the chicken man lately. It's surreal watching ICE agents firing pepper balls and throwing cans of tear gas at people dressed up like frogs, ponies, and other animals. It's almost like watching a scene from Saturday Night Live in hell, but no one is laughing at how serious the illegal city takeovers are. And what a threat they are to our freedoms.

There was a time, no so long ago, when Americans would have been shocked to see the head of Homeland Security and a group of heavily armed agents and snipers staging a show of strength on a government facility besieged by less than 10 protestors and a gaggle of reporters and photographers.

Not now. It's part of reality we're forced to live with. Finding comedy in chaos is one way of coping with the repeated assaults on our rights.

As it Stands, our current tragicomedy has its roots in ancient Rome where dramatist Plautus wrote the play, Amphitryon. His blend of humor and darkness set the stage for future generations.

Trump is Enjoying the Shutdown while the Majority of the Country Suffers

During this current government shutdown Americans are waking up each day to a president with the mental capacity of an eight-year-old who thinks trolling Democrats with AI generated memes is fun.

He's enjoying the break away from the Epstein files as an opportunity to show his power over federal employees. A memo is circulating in the GOP swamp today about not even paying the workers back after suspending their pay during the duration of the shutdown. Now that's cold. Especially since a law was passed in 2019 that protected federal employees from being cheated out of their money. 

Fun fact: this is the first time there's been a shutdown when one party controls both houses and the executive office.

Here's a scary thought, this shutdown is the most normal thing Trump's done since being in office. It's certainly more normal than the U.S. government taking stakes in private companies, or the president selling his own cryptocurrency, or the military being deployed to American cities, et cetera.

Shutdowns are normal in the sense that both parties use them as a bargaining tool. What's not normal is how Trump's henchman Russ Vought, who runs the office of Mangement and Budget, is cutting funds to Democratic cities like New York and California and saying it's because of the shutdown.

We haven't seen this tactic in the past when a president punishes his own constituents that are in blue states. Ideally the president treats all Americans alike. Because the first felon doesn't give a damn about non-wealthy citizens, he's frolicking through the shutdown to the music of The Village People's YMCA.

Doubling up on his assault on democracy Trump has gone on a dangerous campaign to take over Democratic cities using the military as a cudgel against local governments. His unconstitutional attacks against American citizens in blue states are unforgivable.

Another aspect of this shutdown is the Democrats don't believe Trump or his cronies will negotiate in good faith. Why should they? Based upon recent experiences Trump's word is not worth a wooden nickel.

The fact is Trump already owns the longest shutdown, thirty-five days, in history while he was in office for the first time in 2019. That he may stubbornly go for a new record is a possibility.

In Trump's twisted brain the shutdown presents a great opportunity to pretend he's still hosting The Apprentice and firing people willy nilly.

As it Stands, Trump is having a grand old time while the majority of Americans are already feeling the negative effects of the orange baboons made for TV shutdown.
