In reality, the international bankers have said the recession is over. They should know since they are the ones that print our money.
We should issue Greenbacks to pay off some of our debts without paying interest to international bankers. This has been done before with success. Biggest drawback is that the President that enacts such policy doesn't always live for very long.
Good for the country, bad for Presidents.
