Two Myths: Belief That The Earth Is Flat And That Trump Cares About 'Forgotten Americans'

Good Day World!

Did you know some people actual believe the earth is flat?

These flat-earthers  don't often publicly share their belief for fear of ridicule.

Some, like NBA superstar Kyrie Irving, think the world is as flat as a basketball court, and he's not ashamed to share this belief.

He recently told ESPN sports that, "The Earth is flat. The Earth is flat. It's right in front of our faces. I'm telling you, it's right in front of our faces. They lie to us."

Okay. What do you say to a guy like that? From all accounts he's a nice guy who just happens to believe in a conspiracy myth.

Irving's misdirected belief doesn't affect anyone else. He's not hurting anyone with his acceptance of false news. The same can't be said about our asshole president!

His belief that people with brown, or black skin, are inferior goes back to the days of his youth when his dad, Fred, attended KKK meetings.

We know how he feels about minorities versus whites. Just look at the last 11 months.

He's waging all out war against minorities in America and from "shithole counties" (one of his latest racist attacks) like Africa, Haiti, and El Salvador.

But what about Trump's white base? How are they doing in Trump's America? Some are starting to figure out Trump sold them a bill of shit.

Ask the Carrier workers who were laid off recently. The layoffs were announced in June 2017, six months into Trump's presidency and after he boasted about creating jobs for the company.

Read, Plant Workers Still losing Jobs Tell Trump, Don't Forget About Us!

I'm sorry, but not surprised, to see this happen to those Americans who were fooled by Trump's lies. His partisan assault on health care will leave millions of Americans uninsured, especially his supporters.

If you look at how Trump treated the middle class and the elite this year, with the passage of his Tax Scam legislation, the disparity is glaring.

The wealthy hit a bonanza.

The middle class, and those living in poverty - who for the record, form the core of Trump supporters - were left with some crumbs and a future of cutting back on so-called "entitlements" like welfare and social security.

Like the flat earthers, many Trump supporters will continue believing anything he says - no matter how far out it is.

You Want To Have A Good Day? Tune Trump Out

                                     Good Day World!

When Trump tweets, the world listens.

Like it or not, he keeps countries and people on edge with his racist remarks. No one knows who - or what law - he'll target next.

His mercurial temper sends his tiny fingers into a rage of misspelled fury at the slightest perception of someone being mean to him.

Trump is a counter-puncher according to his handlers who are paid to cover for his childish responses - and lies - to everything.

Too much Trump is burning people out. His name invokes hatred and fear for large segments of the country.

But there is hope.

Stop watching any news about Trump.

Stay away from Twitter, and FaceBook where he dwells like a misshapen troll. Don't read Trump Op-Eds in any publications. Don't talk about Trump.

By following these simple suggestions you're well on your way to having a good day.

Live for today. Hug friends and family. Love without reservation. Laugh.

You don't have to pay attention to Trump. It's what he craves. He's a textbook narcissist who loves reading about himself every morning.

Tune Trump out, and watch what a difference it'll make for your day.

What Happens When People No Longer Believe in The Truth?

Good Day World!

Where do we go from here?

The national discourse on the subject of truth shows that facts are being questioned, because our Liar-In-Chief rejects them whenever they become uncomfortable.

Despite having witnesses, Trump insists he did not say African countries were "shitholes." When two attending Trumpies said they couldn't recall him saying that, people were confused.

Did he, or didn't he say that? Now we find that the word he may have used was "shithouses" (like that's any better). Therefore the two Trumpies avoided incriminating their master and technically didn't lie.

But he did lie about what he said according to other witnesses.

Even when Trump is recording lying, his minions deny it. They'll say anything to protect him. One of their favorite strategies is to say Trump was misquoted.
For example:

The White Houses accused The Wall Street Journal of misquoting Trump recently:

According to the White House's Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders;

"President Trump said 'I'd' probably have a very good relationship with Kim Jong Un of North Korea. I'D - I'D - I'D, NOT I."

The Journal said it stood by its reporting, releasing the audio from the selected portion of the transcript, shortly before the White House released their own doctored audio recording of the interview.

Again. It's always a battle of truth versus Trump. Our shameless president encourages others to "creatively lie." (See his book Art of the Deal.)

He lies on the average of 5-6 times daily. (See PoliticFact or The New York Times collections of his lies just since he was elected.

The fact that Trump doubles down on his lies, even when they're exposed, shows his contempt for the truth.

It's telling that truth is such a big issue today, with partisan puppets protecting Trump's attacks against the free press when it doesn't speak nicely about him.

Trump's motto: Divert, and lie without shame.

Poll after poll, shows the majority of Americans know Trump lies repeatedly. After one year of Trump being in power, many Americans have become confused about what the truth is.

They don't understand why the president gets away with his lies. Where right or wrong was once clear cut, Trump has introduced a deadly virus of doubt into mainstream America.

Where do we go from here, if this virus isn't stopped?
