A biologist in Germany has stirred up a fuss with comments suggesting it makes more sense to kill heavily oiled birds from the Gulf of Mexico oil-spill disaster than to clean them.

Yes, by all means, clean the birds and save the fish and wildlife, then use the oil and ruined feather to tar and feather the bastards that did this to them.
I am not against offshore drilling because I know that it can be done safely, but the greedy money grubbing oils execs, and the government officials that they bought and paid for, to let them get away without the proper blowout protection, should ALL have to pay dearly.
