How Much Time Does Trump Have Before He's Charged With Obstruction of Justice?

Good Day World!

The clock is ticking.

White House officials are rightfully worried that Trump will now become part of the Russia investigation. Comey's testimony all but assured that.

The clock is ticking.

In the days and weeks ahead a parade of Trump associates, from Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, to son-in-law and chief White House adviser, Jared Kushner, will be testifying in public (and closed) hearings.

The clock is ticking.

Expect more leaks from the White House. More bombshells. The information against Trump is becoming more focused, more detailed.

The clock is clicking.

Despite the momentum, don't expect a Republican Congress to desert Trump. Presented with facts, Republicans will still be reluctant to impeach Trump.

The clock is clicking.

I think it's safe to say that an impeachment trial is still one, to two, years away. Nothing moves fast in the currently dysfunctional GOP Congress.

Lawmakers of both parties immediately dismissed Trump's proposal to privatize air traffic control last week. The Trump agenda has hit the wall; and Congressional leaders can't seem to climb over it.

That includes The Wall Trump hopes to build between Mexico and America.

The clock is clicking.

Meanwhile, while Washington is sinking into the swamp Trump claimed he'd clear out, the hope of meaningful legislation getting passed is dim.

The clock is ticking.

Time for me to walk on down the road...
