Join me each day for news,opinions,and my column "AS IT STANDS," which runs in The Times-Standard, a daily newspaper in northern California. AS IT STANDS bridged the gap from print to digital by morphing into this blog in July of 2008. I'm a hybrid journalist - a combination of old and new school. Now,it's time for me to walk on down the road.
The one on the right is clearly plotting global domination: "Listen, fellas, feel free to look cuddly on your own time, but when you're with me, could you at least TRY to look evil? And Lefty, when are you going to stop that ridiculous panting and get back to work on the doomsday device? The world's not going to destroy itself, you know..."
