Pretty amazing really. That wasn't just any artist, whoever he was, the guy was pretty good really.

I couldn't paint anything during the few times I took LSD. The high completely knocked out any desire to paint because the visual imput was overwhelming. But look at what this artist produced AFTERWARDS attempting to reproduce a tiny fraction of the incredible psychedelic imagery some of us saw under the influence of LSD, peyote, etc. This painting was chosen by the curator for the De Young Museum to be hung in the S.F. Art Commission Gallery during the 1975 S.F multi-gallery Rainbow Show.

Like it or not, some of the world's best works have been done under the influence of drugs. No one's faulting Arthur Conan Doyle we notice for being high on cocaine and cranking out all those Sherlock Holmes stories..
