Erin Go Braugh! Can I be an Irishman for St. Patrick's Day if I wear green?

                    By Dave Stancliff

Despite descending from a long line of English stone cutters, I really admire the Irish.

When St. Patrick's Day rolls around on March 17th I wear green and eat corned beef and cabbage. I know what you're thinking.

The traditional meal calls for Irish Bacon and cabbage, but you get the picture. To read the rest of the column click here.

Cabbage is better than pasta, so be thankful your family isn't from Northern Italy.

Of course, the other part of "me" is from Welsh/Scot background, with a dose of Native American and Hawaiian thrown in.

But I think it's my pasta heritage that has given me the familial (genetic) high cholesterol and triglycerides.

By the way, I believe in gnomes. For proof of their existence, watch the movie, The Gnome Mobile. It's really good and actually portrayed what happened after Hurwitz fooled so many of us when he bought and ruined PALCO.
